When and how can I submit a request for termination of enrollment?

You can submit your request for termination of enrollment in the same month as that in which you complete your final study component (for example submission date of an internship report, date of graduation presentation/report or date of examination). In other words, you do not need to wait until the result has actually been announced before you submit your request.

Ensure that your request for termination of enrollment is submitted via Studielink on the last day of the month by 23:59 at the latest in order for your enrollment to be terminated on the 1st day of the following month.

Submit your request via Studielink. On the “Study programs” tab, find the enrollment that you would like to terminate and click the “Terminate enrollment” button. Then select the reason “graduation” and the desired termination date. Please note! the date is always the 1st of the month in question, and you cannot choose a date in the past. It is therefore not possible to backdate termination of enrollment.

You will also be asked to provide the name and bank account number of the person to whom any excess tuition fees may be paid.
