IChemE

The TU/e bachelor program in Chemical Engineering has been accredited by IChemE (Institution for Chemical Engineers).This accreditation applies to students who included the so-called IChemE track in their undergraduate program and passed the Bachelor's examination.

The IChemE track consists of the following units:

  •  All basic subjects
  •  All major courses
  •  All courses within the coherent package 'Chemical and Process Technology
  •  The USE-learning 'Decisions under Risk and Uncertainty'
  •  The elective Introduction to Polymer Chemistry and Technology, 6E2X0

Students from cohorts 2013 and later who have included all examination components of the above mentioned IChemE track in their individual study program and opt for the IChemE track mention on the BSc. Diploma Supplement need to send an email with the request to: Examination.committee.CEC@tue.nl, at the latest one month prior to the meeting where the Board of Examiners determines the result of the final Bachelor’s examination. The Board of Examiners will check whether the student fulfills the IChemE track conditions.
