Orientation

If you are considering to study abroad, all sorts of questions may pop up. On this page, you’ll find practical information that helps you with arranging your study or internship abroad.

International Office

ESA’s International Office can help you with the following questions:

  • partner) universities abroad
  • opportunities for grants
  • TU/e’s study/internship travel insurances, which is free
  • international study associations
  • and many, many more

Be sure to contact the International Office in time. Some grants require an application at least 3 months before departure. You could also contact your department’s internationalization coordinator or internship supervisor to ask if there are concrete possibilities for an exchange or internship abroad.

Travel reports of other students

It could be helpful to read travel reports written by other students that went abroad for an exchange or internship. You could gain information and/or visualize what you can expect in your preferred country/city.

Travel reports developing countries

Curious about a study or internship in a developing country? At the website of TU/e University Committee Technology for Global Development (TGD) you could read travel reports of students who went to study or do an internship in a developing country

Internet

Internet also provides you with a lot of information. Many partner universities offer information for incoming exchange students at their International Office webpages. You can also check out Nuffic’s website for an unique experience abroad.
