Internship or graduation project at ASML
The Internship and Graduation Project Framework Agreement between TU/e and ASML came into force on January 1, 2018.
This sets out the arrangements that apply when TU/e students do internships or carry out research for a graduation project at ASML. The arrangements relate to such things as intellectual property rights, confidentiality, liability and insurance.
The Framework Agreement has consequences for TU/e students doing internships or carrying out graduation research at ASML, and for TU/e supervisors supervising these students. It also has consequences for members of Examination Committees, thesis committees and review committees (NVAO) who need to have access to the internship report or final thesis for quality control.
Every TU/e student who does an internship or carries out graduation research at ASML is required to sign an Individual Internship Agreement linked to the Framework Agreement. The Individual Internship Agreement can be found here.
TU/e supervisors and members of the Examination Committee, thesis committee and review committee
The Framework Agreement lays down that TU/e supervisors and members of the Examination Committee, thesis committee and review committee (NVAO) must have access to confidential information at all times, insofar as that type of information is included in the student's report or graduation project. Before actually accessing a report or thesis for quality control, however, TU/e supervisors and members of these committees must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The NDA can be found here.
The signed NDA must then be sent to ASML, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The full content of the Framework Agreement can be requested for inspection from the department’s internship coordinator.
