Confidential Peer Support (CPS)
Student life at the TU/e can sometimes feel like a rollercoaster of experiences – we know! Sometimes you are loving it, and everything is going well, and other times you feel lost and don't know how to make it better.
Our Confidential Peer Supporters (Student and PhD listeners) are trained to help you figure out what the best next steps are and who to contact for support. Whether you just want to chat, want help in contacting a professional, or would like some help with understanding what you can do, we are here. We will listen and support you in taking the necessary next steps.
And it goes without saying that whatever you share will remain completely confidential. So chose a contact person that you think you will vibe with best and let's talk about it!

Bart Teeuwen
Hi there! My name is Bart! I’m a fourth years student at the TU/e, and recently started out with my masters! During my bachelor, I did a lot of committees at Industria and did a minor at the ESoE, all while still living at home. Combining a full student life with a lot of travel to and from Eindhoven can be hard and wear you down, so if you ever want to talk or grab a coffee, don’t be afraid to reach out!
Charlotte van Dongen
I value ones' wellbeing and safety immensely and am a real people person. I love to listen and talk and use this very often as a nice break from studying. I used to study Mechanica Engineering, but decided to switch to P&T. This sparked my interest in becoming a CPS, since I want to help others who struggle with their studies or just in general. If you feel like you need a chat, I am here for you! :)
Sofie van Stam
I know your student life may seem like the best time of your life, but it can be overwhelming so you don't always have to feel like this. I am always in for a chat so if you ever feel the need to talk to someone, I am there for you!
Julia Barenbrug
I am Julia! I am 21 years old and currently in my third year of the bachelor Psychology & Technology! I am a member of E.S.C and Intermate. In my daily life I like to be active and I often get together with friends to hang out!
Jasmijn Sevarts
Hi! I’m Jasmijn, currently studying industrial engineering. Besides that, I love to be active which is why I joined Donquishoot to play hockey. Sometimes student life can get a bit overwhelming balancing all the different aspects. So if you ever want to have a chat, or grab a thee together don’t hesitate to reach out.
Martijn Sips
In my spare time I like to play sports (football, squash, running), but also be busy with various committees, work, and hanging out with my friends. If you need help with something or just want a listening ear, don’t hesitate to contact me. I am glad to help you and remember that you are not out there on your own!
Joep Boelen
Hi, I’m Joep! If I were to describe myself I would say I’m a busy bee. I like to do a lot of different things besides my studies like music, sports, tutoring, etc. Sometimes student life can be quite intense, and for me it helps a lot to talk to my friends about my problems. Likewise they talk to me when they struggle with things. If you feel like you need someone to talk to, I can be that listening friend for you! So please feel free to reach out!
Isabel Kuipers
Hi there! I am Isabel/Izzy, a nonbinary and queer person (I use all pronouns). I describe myself as a creative, chaotic centipede; I like to try out everything creative. I’m also part of both the Lighthouse advisory committee and the peer-support platform. During my bachelor’s I’ve struggled a lot with both physical (chronic pain & epilepsy) and mental health issues, and I have received a lot of support from this university. I’ve learned how to deal with my struggles and adjust as a student. With my experience, I hope as a CPS I can lend a listening ear to whomever needs it. Do not hesitate to contact me!
Colette Keurentjes
Hi everyone! My name is Colette, I am 23 years old and a chemical engineering student. Furthermore, I love adventures. While life, especially as a student, can be chaotic and busy, it is always a good idea to talk. No matter the issue, small or big. If you ever need a listening ear, feel free to reach out!
Raya Giezenaar
I am a listener, like to take care of the people around me, and have a down-to-earth approach. If you feel like you need someone to talk to, you can always contact me to grab a cup of coffee or tea!
Casper Pieck
I am in my third year of the Applied Physics bachelor and I am pretty active in many different associations, mainly VDWaals, Nayade, Quadrivium and La Tuna. The work-life balance required for this is something i'm very mindful of. In my alone-time i'm mostly busy listening to or making music or playing games. I also like to have deep conversations that switch to stupid ones and vice versa.
Jurre Wolters
Fun fact: I’m in a promotional video of the TU/e, but not the one for my study. Why I have become a contact point: I think being a listener is going a long way with helping student cope with the problems they are facing.
Arjun Tyagi
As an international student, I have found myself comfortable around different communities at TU/e, many students find this difficult, Dutch or otherwise. I want to amongst other issues that I’d like to assist resolve, I want to help students find a sense of belonging, like I found. Just like a typical extrovert, I gain energy by social interactions, and I can always make time for new interactions.
Tudor Popescu

In myh spare time I like to be with my friends, maybe look at some art or watch a movie or just listen to music. If you ever need someone to talk to about any challenges you may be facing, feel free to reach out. I’m here to listen without judgment.
Thom de Moor
I’m the type of student who spends more time on extracurricular activities than my actual study. In my spare time I have a job, do committee work and exercise a lot (fitness, kickboxing and Japanese jujitsu). As a CPS I hope to offer a listening ear to anyone who needs it. I’m open to talk about anything at any time. So, don’t hesitate to send a message!
Renske Lycklama à Nijeholt
Fun fact: I’m one of the creators of the mental health podcast Mentalitijd :)
Merel Vermeulen

I am a fan of adventure, both humorous and serious conversations, gaining new experiences and exploring the world. I have a passion for dancing, pole dance, snowboarding, and many other sports. As a CPS, through listening without judgement, I hope to lower barriers to seek support and create a safe environment to talk about what is on your mind, no matter big or small. I am glad you found this page. Please don’t hesitate to take the step of reaching out to me.
Hannah van Egmond
Friends know me as someone who is always enthusiastic. And so am I for being a confidential peer supporter! I like helping other people and I think it is important that everyone feels free to share their struggles with someone. Also as a student mentor I have good conversations with other students.
Nuriye van Lamoen
Currently, I’m one of Doppio’s confidential peer supporters and that’s a wonderful job to do. It’s amazing to experience how well you can help someone by simply listening and guiding someone their way into acceptance or salvation of their problem.
