TU/e Best Teacher Awards

These are the nominees for TU/e Best Teacher Awards
With the annual TU/e Best Teacher Awards we honor our TU/e heroes who inspire, motivate and advance students. This year, seven teachers have been nominated.

All nominees will be judged by members of the Student Advisory Body on passion, interaction, impact on development of students, vision on higher education, innovation and uniqueness.   
 
We proudly present our nominees:

Nominees Best Bachelor Teacher

• Ivo Filot, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry
• Claudia Fecarotti, Industrial Engineering
• Rudi Bekkers, Innovation Sciences

Nominees Best Master Teacher

• Andrea Fiore, Applied Physics
• Hélène Aarts, Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences
• Melvin Drent, Industrial Engineering

During MomenTUm on September 27, 2024 the Best Bachelor Teacher and the Best Master Teacher will be announced. The winner will receive a cheque worth 15,000 euros, and all other nominees will receive a cheque worth 3,000 euros. Additionally, everyone will receive a statue specially designed for the Best Teacher Awards.
