Temporary access changes – Atlas -1 bicycle cellar
Attention cyclists! The Atlas -1 bicycle parking garage is getting some much-needed maintenance, which means temporary changes to access routes and facilities.
Attention all cyclists! If you park your bicycle in the Atlas -1 bicycle cellar, be aware that access will be temporarily limited due to maintenance. To avoid any surprises, here’s what you need to know:
Changed access routes
- From Monday, February 24, to Friday, March 21, 2025, the side entrance to the bicycle cellar will be closed. During this period, all bicycles must enter and exit through the southern entrance.
To accommodate two-way traffic, two bicycle gutters have been installed along the stairs. The side entrance will be blocked off, and clear traffic signs will guide you.
Cargo bicycles
Unfortunately, cargo bicycles cannot safely enter or exit the bicycle cellar during this time. If you have a cargo bike, you can use the Neuron bicycle shed, which has a ramp for easy access.
Secured bicycle parking & charging points
The secured bicycle shed inside the bicycle cellar, along with the charging points, will not be accessible during these four weeks. Employees can use the secured bicycle shed at the Auditorium, but access must be arranged in advance. To request authorization on your employee card, contact Facility Management Atlas at fm.atlas@tue.nl.
Wheelchair lift unavailable
The wheelchair lift in the bicycle cellar will not be operational for these four weeks.
