Introducing: Vector!

Gemini is currently undergoing renovations. To facilitate this, the department of Biomedical Engineering (BmE) will move from Gemini to Vector. Starting February 10, most BmE classes will be held in Vector.

It’s possible that courses from other departments might also be scheduled in Vector. If this happens, you will see the abbreviation VEC in your timetable, indicating that your class will be held in the Vector building.

Finding your way to Vector: here are some tips to help you

1. Location: Vector is located behind the sports center, at Dominee Theodor Fliednerstraat 2 (D1 on the map). You can find a map of the TU/e campus on this page.

1. Walking Directions: From your location on campus, head to the sports center. On the right (north-east) side of the sports center, you will pass through a tunnel. On the other side, you will find Vector. The main entrance to the building is on the opposite side of where you arrive. From MetaForum, it is a 15-minute walk, and a 5-minute bike ride. Please ensure you leave on time to avoid being late for your classes.

1. Public Transport: If you're using public transport, the nearest bus stop is at Máxima MC. Line 3 and line 4 take you to the Máxima MC stop from Eindhoven Central Station in 8-9 minutes. From there, it's just a short walk to Vector.

1. Signage: Look out for signs around the campus that will guide you to Vector. There will also be signs and maps within the building.

Practical information
 

1. Opening hours Vector: Vector is open from 7:30 - 20:00hrs.

1. Bike shed: There is a large covered and freely accessible bike shed.

1. Canteen: On the first floor there is a large, openly accessible canteen. This area can also be used for studying or meeting people.

1. Study spots: Near the entrance, there will be plenty of sofas and tables, to meet each other and/or study together.
