For whom?
This course is designed for students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and/or AD(H)D (Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder) who may experience unique challenges in their studies.
With strong school performances in primary or secondary school, some students fly under the radar for a long time and only get diagnosed at a later age. Or they might have gotten their diagnosis at a young age but have never quite understood what it means. You might have spent years wondering why things feel more challenging for you than for others. In this group, we aim to provide a supportive environment to share experiences and offer insight into what it means to study with ASD and/or AD(H)D.
What's it all about?
During this course, students will deepen their understanding of ASD and AD(H)D and learn about the specific difficulties the diagnosis can bring. We will cover practical strategies to cope with these challenges in an academic and personal setting and provide a safe space for discussing common experiences and sharing personal tips.
