Learning Objectives
Experiment with various presentation techniques, focusing on space usage, voice modulation, posture, improvisation, and audience engagement. This is an active training session that includes video recording.
Content
The training consists of a single session, approximately 45 minutes long, scheduled by appointment with one of the ESA student advisors. You should prepare your presentation in advance (PowerPoint).
The presentation should last between 15 to 20 minutes to ensure there is enough time to practice techniques and discuss them. If your presentation is longer, you will present a portion of it.
To maximize the benefits of the practice session, we recommend bringing 2-3 people as your audience. This makes the presentation more realistic. You can choose people you feel comfortable with or fellow students who can provide constructive feedback. If you can’t find anyone to join, you can still sign up to practice your presentation.
Registration
Register by sending an email to esatraining@ with the subject: Registration SFC76 Practice your presentation. You will then be invited for a practice session. Please indicate your availability on weekdays/times and any deadlines you may have. tue.nl
