Program Overview 2022-2023

The schedule below provides a detailed overview of the Bachelor’s Program of Applied Mathematics for students starting the academic year 2022-2023. Students starting before this academic year can find their curriculum under Curriculum Archive, or in the Program and Examinations Regulations.

Explanatory notes to the table:

  • M: major study component,
  • B: basic study component,
  • E: elective study component,
  • U: USE study component There are eight instances of E-U in years 2 and 3. This means that the students can choose between an elective study component and a USE study component. A total of three USE study components and seven elective study components must be taken in years 2 and 3.
  • There are two instances of E-M (BEP) in quarters 3 and 4 of the third year. This means that the BEP (Bachelor's final project) can be either spread over these two quarters or completed as one block in quarter 4. Depending on which of these applies, there may be room for an elective in quarter 3 or 4. The Bachelor's final project is worth 10 credits in total.
  • The major study components are worth a total of 95 credits of which Professional Skills are embedded in the major.
