The main objective of the internship is that the student experiences what it is like to work in an external organization, preferably on a starting-engineer level. And by carrying out a practical research in a business environment, the student experiences the difference between theory and practice. The training period should be on project basis- i.e. with a well-defined scope of work allowing an advanced student to complete the training period (including report) in a way valuable to both employer and university.
The search process takes approximately one year so it is important to register at least one year before the desired starting date of the internship. To start this process; first contact the internship coordinator Peter Koets: p.p.koets@tue.nl
