Vertigo

The Vertigo building has a well-equipped workshop, which has been adapted to the requirements and wishes of ID in the field of mechanical processes. In Vertigo, a specialized team assists students in building prototypes and models.

The most frequently used equipment supports woodworking, foam modeling and laser cutting. To some extent, staff members can support metal machining and welding. The workshop has a sales desk where students can buy common prototyping materials.

Visit the pages of the department of Built Environment for more information on the student workshop.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 08.00 - 16.30h
Location: Vertigo building 0.05

Safety instructions

The student workshop can only be accessed with an authorized campus card. ID students can obtain authorization by attending the machine-safety instruction workshop. If you were unable to attend the workshop when starting at ID, you can contact Chet Bangaru and make an appointment for an instruction. It may take a few days following instruction before access is granted. See Contact Labs page for contact details.
