General Timeline mentor matching procedure
NB: specific dates and locations will be communicated via CANVAS 1S127A (for Semester A) and 1S127B (for Semester B)
Q3, W6 | Information meeting Mentor Matching Semester B |
Q3, W6 - W8 | Orientation phase - track selection |
Q3, W6 | Registration deadline courses Q4 |
Q3, W8 - W9 | Track matching phase - Ultimately Monday April 8th students receive their track notification |
Q3, W9 - W10 | Track matching phase - students fill in the questionnaire student themes BPC resp. student themes MIP |
Q4, W1 - W1 | Mentor matching phase - students receive their short list of mentors |
Q4, W2 - W4 | Mentor interview phase - student have meeting with (short-listed) mentor for an interview. No commitments, exploration only! |
Q4, W5 - W6 | Mentor/student decisions - If match, then student fill in the Master IM - Assignment Thesis Mentor Form together the Code of Scientific conduct and submit by email to CSA (ieis.csa@tue.nl) as soon as possible. |
Q4, W7 - W8 | Canvas shows up-to-date overview of available mentors. Students without a match may contact them. |
Q4, W9 - W10 | Students still without a mentor will be allocated If match, then student fill in the form Master IM - Assignment Thesis Mentor Form together the Code of Scientific conduct and submit by email to CSA (ieis.csa@tue.nl) as soon as possible. |
Before the start of the 2nd Semester | Submit the Master IM - Elective Courses Form |
