The Special / Free track is reserved for students whose interests are not covered by the Global Sustainability or Innovation Strategy and Policy track. Students who want to opt for this track, should be able to clearly argument why they want to do an alternative program in the free track and why this program also covers the purpose, learning objectives and requirements of the master.Innovation Sciences. All specialization and free electives should be determined in close collaboration with the personal mentor and to be approved by the Program Chair as well as the Exam Committee. Please note that like in the regular tracks, it is mandatory to choose at least 10 ECTS of engineering science courses (this can also be done in the elective space), as well as doing an international semester.
