Scientific Information

Design builds on and uses inspiration from others. Designers search available stores of (academic) knowledge for appropriate information and compares them to assess their value.

As a future industrial designer you need to develop a critical attitude and be able to build an argument based on different perspectives. You will combine information from different sources to create innovative propositions or visions that contribute to repositories of (academic) knowledge. You should indicate what sources inspired you and position your work in a specific academic domain using the appropriate referencing standards.
