Defining your program
At the start of the program you choose one of the three tracks, defining the specialization in your program. The 3 tracks within the Applied Physics Master's program have been refined to (1) Nano, Quantum and Photonics (2) Plasmas and Beams and (3), Fluids, Bio and Soft Matter as of September 2020.
You further specify your desired program by making choices regarding your free electives, external internship and graduation project.
Under certain conditions, an acknowledgement that the student has completed a study program with a strong emphasis on theory for technology can be included in the diploma supplement of the Master’s Degree Program in Applied Physics. A detailed specification of the requirements for obtaining the “Theory for Technology” acknowledgement is described in the Program and Examination Regulations.
Approval of your study program
You should list your desired program on the electives program form, discuss it with your mentor, and send the form and a signed Declaration concerning the TU/e code of conduct, no later than six months after the start of your Master’s program to the SharePoint of the Study Program Committee (last tile on the right) and send a copy of the electives program form to the mentor.
