Master BME and master ME

The information on this page applies to both the master Biomedical Engineering and the master Medical Engineering.

Each quartile a call for student-assistants for the following quartile will be placed on Canvas (8G005). Student-assistants support teachers with their education and help other students with their courses. As a student-assistant you get the opportunity to gain more knowledge with regards to a certain course and topic en besides that you will develop skills with regards to guiding and coaching. 

Time investment 

  • Guiding a DBL course: 40 or 80 hours per quartile, dependent of the number of groups you wil be guiding 
  • Guiding a course: on average between 20 to 40 hours per quartile

Student-mentors 

A student-mentor is a senior year student who please a central role in the social integration and bonding of new students. This is mainly during the first semester. The recruitment of student-mentors always takes place during the 4th quartile for the upcoming academic year. 

Time investment: in total around 45 hours
