Master BME and master ME
The information on this page applies to both the master Biomedical Engineering and the master Medical Engineering.
Mentoring
During the master you will be supervised by a mentor from the department Biomedical Engineering. You will find a list with the mentors in the different groups and their expertise at the bottom of this page. The main goal of mentoring is to support you as a student. The mentor is available to help students with questions regarding course selection, skills development, external internship and career plans.
In the first month after starting a master’s degree program, you need to design a development plan (PDP) and set up a first meeting with your mentor. Make sure you regularly speak your mentor, at least in an introductory meeting and before the start of your external internship and graduation project.
Note! Make your PDP before discussing the study program with the mentor. This must be done two (2) weeks prior to the start of your master program.
