Graduation checklist

1. Read the graduation regulations

When: Before actually starting your graduation project process

2. Submit your study program

When: Within a year after the start of your IAM studies

Study Program Approval form 2017-2018 or earlier

After completion of the form by the student, the student’s mentor should sign the form and submit this form digitally at the Student Administration (mcs.csa@tue.nl).

3. Submit your graduation plan

When: 4-8 weeks before the start of your final project.

After completion of the form by the student (including appendices), the student’s supervisorshould sign the form and submit this form digitally at the Student Administration (mcs.csa@tue.nl).

Please note that:

-The form should exclude the signature of the academic advisor.

-This form cannot be processed unless the study program has been submitted.

4. Register for the examinations meeting

When: at the latest 4 weeks before the examinations meeting takes place

5. Schedule your thesis defense

When: At the latest 2 weeks before the examinations meeting takes place

Please note that in order to schedule your final defense:

  • All the components of your study program apart from your graduation project have to be completed and registered in OSIRIS.
  • The composition of your assessment committee has to be approved by the secretary of the examinations committee one month in advance of the defense. This is the responsibility of your graduation supervisor.

6. Submit final report*

By your supervisor,accompanied by the final project assessment form (including the scientific code of conduct signed by the student):

Note that in order to have your final grade processed, we need the final thesis too, otherwise we will not process the finale grade.

7. Join the graduation ceremony
