Curriculum

This Innovation Management Master's degree course is taught in English. The program lasts two years, with each year consisting of 60 ECTS. In their first year, students take one core course per quartile, facilitating the development of a strong student community across all four quartiles. The four core courses of the program offer you the theoretical and methodological knowledge and skills you need to further build your own Innovation Management portfolio. Students also take one track course per quartile, which also develops a strong track-based community. Finally, in each quartile, students choose one elective course from any of the other tracks and/or complete any homologation courses they might require.

In the second year, plenty of room is given to more personal choices. Students choose up to 30 ECTS of free elective courses, which can be at a foreign university, or follow free electives at TU/e, such as by participating in a course offered by the award-winning Innovation Space.

International experience

There is ample opportunity to go abroad and gather international experience, which is highly recommended. You will follow courses that complement your study program in Eindhoven, either deepening your knowledge of subjects studied here or introducing new topics not available in Eindhoven. The department maintains an active exchange program with a number of international universities that have strong research and teaching programs in technology and innovation. This includes links with universities in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the USA.

Graduation project

In the last two quartiles of the second year, students conduct their graduation project.
