Track Transportation

Transport is a critical part of any modern economy and one of the most important human activities worldwide. Today, our society and economy are facing an increasing transport demand, for both passengers and goods. Managing these flows creates new challenges that require new planning and operation strategies in the area of transportation. The transportation track provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to deal with these challenges. Main research topics of OML within transportation sector include transportation network design, scheduling and routing optimization, last mile logistics, hubs and terminal locations, intermodal traffic management, and demand management.

Within the Specialization there are 15 EC of Track Core courses.
