Courses
The courses that you need to attend during the pre-master, are assigned to you by the Departmental Admission Committee (DAC) based on the level of knowledge and skills that you demonstrate in your admission documents.
The DAC evaluates all documents on an individual level and reviews on how an applicant applies knowledge and skills in the design projects. This implies that this may result in a different outcome for students with the same educational background.
The assigned courses will help you to improve your knowledge, skills and attitude in the different expertise areas. In general, you need to demonstrate competence in all expertise areas on a sufficient level before you can enter the master program.
You will be allocated to a selection of the following courses, depending on the start date of your pre-master program.
Academic Year 2025-2026
You can find general project and course information in the Osiris Course Catalogus.
CSA-ID will register you for all pre-master courses before the start of your program.
ID Professional Identity & Vision

ID PI&V focusses on the development of your professional identity and vision, educational framework and self-directed learning system at the Department of Industrial Design. This is an introductory course for new students.
