In addition to enrollment for a bachelor's degree program, pre-master's program or master's degree program, other types of enrollment are also possible. These types of enrollment are outlined in the overview below. It includes the various rights, obligations, and enrollment forms for each type of enrollment.
Enrollment elective course
Student from another Dutch university who has been granted permission by their home institution to take 1 or more courses at TU/e.
Complete the online form via the Osiris Application portal.
Enrollment as EngD trainee
EngD trainee of the TU/e who wishes to take courses at TU/e as part of a two-year Post Graduate Study Program.
Complete the online form via the Osiris Application portal.
Enrollment as PhD candidate
PhD candidate of the TU/e who wishes to take courses at TU/e as part of a Post Graduate Program.

Certification program enrollment TU/e student
Student who is enrolled for a TU/e bachelor's or master's degree program who would like to take a certification program.
Complete the online form via the Osiris Application portal.
Certification program enrollment non-TU/e student
External student (not enrolled at TU/e) who would like to take a certification program. There are costs involved for this type of enrollment which are mentioned on the application form.
Complete the PDF form digitally and send it, in PDF format, to esa@tue.nl, together with the documents stated on the form.
Contract student enrollment
Enrollment without prior education requirements, with a maximum of three series of lectures a year. There are costs involved for this type of enrollment which are mentioned on the application form.
