If you are not enrolled for another program at TU/e, canceling your enrollment will impact the following:
- Student travel product
- Student grants and loans
- Notebook regulation
- TU/e account expires
- Issued proof of payment of tuition fees (BBC) no longer valid
When you are no longer enrolled at a higher education institute, you no longer have the right to a student grant or a student travel product. If you already applied for these, you will need to cancel them via DUO, by the deadline set by DUO. Failing to do so may result in fines. More information is available on the DUO website. TU/e is obliged to inform DUO of the commencement and termination of enrollments.
If you have a TU/e notebook, you need to hand in your notebook to IMS Services Student within 5 working days of no longer being enrolled. More information is available on this page: Notebook regulation – termination of your studies.
Please note! Your TU/e account will expire 42 days after you are no longer enrolled, and you will therefore no longer have access to your TU/e email address, Osiris student or the files saved in your TU/e account. We recommend making a back-up well in advance.
In the event that you are enrolled at another higher education institute based on a proof of payment of tuition fees (BBC), which was issued by TU/e for the canceled enrollment, the BBC is no longer a valid means of payment at this second institution. The BBC will be withdrawn and the other higher education institute will be informed. This higher education institution will contact you regarding payment of the tuition fees.
