Register for final examination session and diploma
If you have (almost) completed your bachelor's or master's degree program, you must submit a diploma request in Osiris and sign up for a final examination session of the Examination Committee. In this final session, the Examination Committee will then check whether you meet the set requirements for the degree and therefore are qualified to receive your diploma.
Procedure and registration
Sign up for a diploma request in OSIRIS no later than 5 weeks before you are scheduled to complete the last educational activity of your examination program. Registration is possible after you have obtained 150 credits. With less credits, you cannot submit a diploma request.
How do you register for your final examination session and diploma:
1. Click on 'Progress' in OSIRIS and then on 'Request a diploma'.
2. Check the given data for correctness.
3. Add 'Application notes' if need be.
For example, indicate that you will not be completing your last educational activity for another two months and that - in view of this - your diploma application may be placed on the agenda for a later meeting of the Examination Committee.
4. Click on 'Send application' in OSIRIS. By doing that, you are also registered
for the meeting of the Examination Committee.
Request a delay in receiving the diploma
You will need to register for a final examination session as soon as possible to minimize the time between completing your last study activity and being awarded your degree. However, in some cases you may be able to ask your Examination Committee to issue your degree certificate later, for example if you are doing a Board year, or wish to take additional study components abroad, or graduate with honors/distinction. (See art. 6.1.5 OER)
