Information for students

Doing a bachelor end project, internship and/or graduation project at a company can be a part of your degree program. You can opt to do an internship or graduation project at a Dutch or foreign company.

Contracts 

If the organization wants you to sign a contract for the duration of your internship or graduation project, we use the following contracts: 

  • For internships and graduation projects, TU/e's own Workplace agreement is used, both inside and outside of the Netherlands. 
  • Alternatively, the UNL internship agreement may be used.  
  • For non-EEA students doing an internship or graduation project the use of a NUFFIC agreement is mandatory. 

For internships and graduation projects at the following organizations the framework agreement that TU/e closed with this organization is used: 

Only the managing director of your department is authorized to sign your internship or graduation project contract on behalf of the university. Your teacher, coach or supervisor is not allowed to sign your contract. Contact your department's contact person for more information on your department's signing procedure. 

If the organization offers you the organization's internship or graduation project contract, try to use one of the standard contracts above. If the organization insists on using their own contract, make sure to contact your department's contact person. Also make sure to check the contract for the following aspects:
