Internal progress to master's program
When you complete your bachelor's degree program or pre-master's program at TU/e, you can progress to a master's degree program at TU/e. The moment at which you wish to progress to a master's degree program (starting on September 1 of the next academic year or during the current academic year) determines the way in which you submit your request.
If you want to progress to a master's program starting on September 1 of the next academic year, you need to submit your request for enrollment via Studielink. The deadline to submit your request is August 1.
If you want to progress from a bachelor’s degree program or pre-master’s program to a master’s degree program during the current academic year, then the following step-by-step plan applies.
You can start the master’s degree program of your choice in any month (November 1 until June 1) during the academic year. Of course, that is providing that you have passed your TU/e bachelor’s degree program or pre-master’s program and you are eligible for admission.
|1||Student||Submit a diploma request to the Examination Committee via Osiris if you have nearly completed your bachelor.|
Once you have submitted your bachelor's diploma request you will automatically receive an invitation to apply for a master's program.
|3||Pre-master student (specific)|
Once the examination date for your pre-master is registered, you will automatically receive an invitation to apply for a master's program.
If you want to submit your request to progress earlier because you expect to have almost completed your pre-master, please contact the Enrollment Office of Education and Student Affairs (ESA).
Apply for the master's program of your choice via the Osiris Application portal. The instructions for this are in the e-mail you will receive automatically.
Important: for your starting date, always select the first day of the month after the month of your final examination date (or a later month).
Once you have applied you will automatically receive a confirmation. You can trace the status of your request in the Osiris Application portal or via Studielink.
Enrollment Office (ESA) will check your request for enrollment for the master's program.
Important: If your chosen master's program does not completely match your bachelor's program, your request will be assessed by the Departmental Admissions Committee (FTC).
|7||Examination Committee||The Examination Committee determines whether you have passed and registers your examination date in Osiris once this has been set.|
|8||ESA||Enrollment Office (ESA) will process your enrollment and send you a confirmation of this by email.|
You can now register for exams. Please note the deadline for registration.
