Project description

The goal: An at least energy neutral TU campus by 2030. In urgent need for a fully sustainable society, Eindhoven university of technology has all the different expertise’s across the departments to come with answers and solutions. To get to full sustainability, there are several aims: from energy neutral, to carbon neutral, to climate neutral and ultimately fully circular. In this challenge, we take our own campus as a large living lab and aim to become at least energy neutral by 2030. “At least” means it can also be higher on the scale towards full sustainability, and / or the campus can generate more energy than it uses.  Students can help the TU move forward and in this challenge, they will gather and analyze data, creatively and conceptually explore new ideas for solutions (innovation) and create new scientific knowledge and technological systems through experiments, try outs and prototypes.
