It is the ambition of the department that every student gains international experience worth at least 15 credits. The international experience may consist of an external traineeship abroad, carrying out a graduation project (partially) abroad and/or taking courses abroad.
If you wish to study abroad, you have plenty of opportunities.
You can do your internship and/or graduation project outside of the Netherlands. A good starting point for arranging this at a great many of universities and companies abroad is the network of the AP staff and AP research groups. Many of our staff have excellent connections with researchers and companies abroad. If you are interested in going abroad for your internship and/or graduation project talk to your supervisor about the possibilities.
You can also go abroad for elective courses. If you are interested in going abroad for courses talk to your mentor about the possibilities.
There are many bilateral agreements with ERASMUS partners in Europe (such as Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and UK).
The TU/e also has an agreement with the National University of Singapore to exchange some 10-12 students per year.
