Graduation Project

During the graduation project, you will gain considerable in-depth scientific knowledge and competences. This project can be carried out in one of the research laboratories of the department (usually in close cooperation with a PhD student). In consultation with the supervisor, the graduation project can, in limited cases, also be partly done at another university, in the Netherlands or abroad.

You will apply theoretical knowledge previously acquired in performing a realistic research or design project while considering aspects of safety, environment, and economy. You will identify relevant literature, and display a critical view on the current state of knowledge on the topic. You will professionally present your work in writing and orally at the end of the project. In conducting the graduation project you will display creativity and independence.

There are different subject codes for different tracks: 6CPT00 for the CPT track (45 ECTS), 6MSM00 for the MSMC track (45 ECTS), and 6HySET00 for the HySET track (30 ECTS, in addition to the 15 ECTS module 6HySET05 Preparation for the graduation project for HySET). Visit the Canvas pages of these modules and read the Program and Examination Regulations to know more about the entry requirements, the application procedure, the assessment etc...
