The results of this evaluation were provided to the teachers and have been discussed with the Director of Education and a delegation of the Program Committee.
Bachelor's Program
The response rate of the evaluations of Q2 varied between 17-41%. Eleven courses were offered in Q2. For two courses the evaluation results demonstrated a lower student satisfaction; these courses received an overall grade between a 5.5 and 5.9 (on a 0.0 to 10.0 scale). All other courses are graded more positively, two courses were graded as excellent (e.g. 8.0 and 8.9 on a 0.0 to 10.0 scale).
Six courses were valued as extreme relevant, ranging between 4.1 and 4.6 (on a 0.0 to 5.0 scale). Students also expressed their appreciations for the teachers; 13 out of 25 involved teachers received an excellent score of a 4.0 or higher (on a 0.0 to 5.0 scale). General speaking; the workload was experienced as high.
Master's Program
The response rate of the course evaluations in Q2 ranged between 35% and 61%. Six courses were offered. For two courses the evaluation results demonstrated a lower student satisfaction; for two courses the evaluation results demonstrated an extreme high student satisfaction (e.g 8.2 and 9.0 on a 0.0 to 10.0 scale). Again; students expressed their appreciations for the teachers; eight out of 15 involved teachers received an excellent score of a 4.0 or higher (on a 0.0 to 5.0 scale). For three courses the course set-up, course organization and course material can to be improved.
Improvement
When looking at the evaluation outcomes of the bachelor and master courses in quarter 2, we see opportunities for improvement, especially in the course set-up and course material. Specific plans for improvements will be discussed with the responsible teachers.
