The following Bachelor’s degree certificate (BSc) provides direct access to the pre-Master's program:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering (Elektrotechniek or Mechatronics) of a Dutch University of Applied Science (Hbo).
- BSc in Applied Science (Physics/ Natuurkunde) of a Dutch University of Applied Science (Hbo).
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Werktuigbouwkunde) of a Dutch University of Applied Science (Hbo).
- BSc in Engineering, in the field of Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from Hogeschool Zuyd (Hbo).
For students with a different degree than listed above, the Departmental Admissions Committee (DAC) will determine if the deficiency is less or equal to 30 ECTS. If this is the case, DAC will decide whether admission to and enrollment in the pre-master program is permitted. DAC will decide which pre-master’s program of AI&ES the student must take. There are namely two pre-master programs of AI&ES, A and B.
- Program A is for students with pre-knowledge in Data but with deficiencies in Signals and Systems.
- Program B is or students with pre-knowledge in Signals and Systems but with deficiencies in Data.
Students can register through Studielink for enrollment in the pre-master program AI&ES. Be aware of the May 1st deadline. The additional English and Mathematics requirements must also be met when enrolling in the pre-master.
After a student successfully completes the pre-master program AI&ES within the set term (maximum two semesters), the student is admitted to and can continue in the master program AI&ES.
