If you have a complaint about the actions of governing bodies or an employee of TU/e, you can also address this complaint to the National Ombudsman in The Hague. You must do this within one year of receiving the institution's findings regarding your complaint.
Before a complaint can be handled by the National Ombudsman, you must first approach the entity you are complaining about.
Not all complaints are addressed by the National Ombudsman. For example, matters that could or can be brought before the CBE or the Council of State are not handled by the National Ombudsman.
A complaint that is taken up may lead to an investigation that concludes with a written report that may include recommendations.
TU/e is not obliged to follow the recommendations of the National Ombudsman.
